In 1995, Davis Vintage Collectibles, a small store in the heart of New York's antique district on 27th Street, was created to sell vintage writing instruments.

In 1997, the store added vintage postcards, pen advertising and accessories such as gold nibs, ink wells, antique desk sets and hand-made pen displays.

In 2001, we started dealing in vintage and antique ink bottles. We set up our first web site in 1999 called nypen.com, which has recently been changed to 1001Pens.com, where we sell antique and vintage pens with a speciality in Parker.
